At least one decision made....at last.

It's been a weird week of weighing out options and checking websites until I feel like I've memorized every low-cost airline and railway option between Madrid, Malaga, Barcelona, Marrakesh, Tangier and all points in between.

But we've decided to go straight to Malaga after we arrive in Madrid. We're going to take a rest in Malaga, get up the next morning and make our decisions based on how we're feeling. Maybe we'll feel great and maybe we'll be bagged.

I've bought the airline tickets now and we're committed. I'm really glad.

A New Beginning

Whatever happens on Tuesday, I DO believe we will be in business with Marvista Entertainment. In the event that we receive the news we are hoping for, I thought I should create a new blog which will contain updates and highlights. If the news is good there will be a lot of information that will need to be dispersed to interested people so a new blog is definitely in order.

If we should be directed to get going on season 2 - I have begun work on a proposed first itinerary. Right after Amanda's social the crew would leave for Romania via London. We would do a unique Hallowe'en show that would focus on Count Dracula.

A little bit of a different format, but I am convinced it would be awesome. Then we would travel to Portugal which has a well established tourism industry. Adrenaline activities such as paragliding, a wild horse valley, sheepdogs, funicular, castles, walled medieval cities, spice ships and fish markets. I think it would be awesome. Then it's off to Morocco - again, well-established tourism, sand boarding in the Sahara, a camel trek in the desert and overnight in a Bedouin camp. You get the idea.

Three very different destinations in one fell swoop. Good airline connections to keep the cost down.

VERY tentative dates October 29th-November 19th. A very long trip. The longest of my projected itineraries. I don't think everyone would have to count on being there for all of it.
